The beginning, Advent 2009
St. Mark's organized on January 31, 1859. 2010 begins
the 151st year of continuous worship services.
The official start of St. Mark's German Church commenced
on December 6, 2009 at 10:00 o'clock in the morning
with the
installation of Matthias Bechert. He also
delivered the sermon
to the St. Mark's ELCA congregation.
